Style of your hair,

shape of your eyes and your nose,

the way you stare

As if you see, right through to my soul,

It's your left hand and the way

that it's not quite as big as your right,

the way you stand in the mirror

Our quiet time,

They're a part of the list.

Things that I miss.

Things like your funny little laugh,

What I noticed is this:

I come up with

something new, every single time

that I sit and reminisce.

Missing It All

This week, (Week 8 - in my Semester 1/ 2010 calendar), it's suppose to be my mid-semester break, which gives us time to take a break from all the hectic work the past 7 weeks, and for those like me to catch up with assignments that are due. ;p

I just came back from Kuching last Tuesday, 20th of April. I felt numb in my heart when my mum sent me off at the airport. Then, as the plane started to pick up momentum suring take-off, I felt a lump in my throat. A feeling of loneliness hitted me. Its been quite some time since I felt like this. Considering I refused to go back home during the past holidays over the year 2009.

What hitted me the most was that the thought of my mum being alone in our home again. She kept a neighbourhood cat that always jumped into our lawn, sometime in the middle of 2009. When I was back last Thursday (15th of April), I had forgotten about my sister telling me we got a pet cat. I jumped in shock when I saw it on the rattan chair by the dining table.

As the days passed, I started to get used to the cat being around, even not running away in fright when its around me. I even stroked its fur (mission accomplished!) few time.

During the whole 5 days back at home, I came to realise how lonely my mum is at our own home. With me and my two sisters staying away from home. My two brothers, they are not that much of a chatter bug with my mum. I did my best in talking to her every chances I get. She seems changed. More quiet, and doesnt bug us so much anymore. She doesnt yell when we didnt listen to her calling or asking us to do something... Perhaps she's just thankful for us to still be around.

OK, I'm gonna stop now. I'm starting to cry.

KUCHING!

I'm so excited for I am going to hop on the plane to fly back to 

my hometwon, KUHCING, tomorrow! 

It's been 1 year plus now since I last stepped foot on Kuching soil. 

If it wasnt for Design site visit, I think I wont be back for the next 2 years perhaps.

Gonna miss my hamster :( 

But a lil bit of distance makes the heart grow fonder, aite. :)

He's so nice he'll be coming over from work later, ALL the way from the centre of KL to Cyberjaya, to have dinner with me & spend some time with me. 

Family Weekend

Ditched my work for weekend with relatives who came over from Sarawak. :)

APRIL APRILLIA

My first post for this month! And it's already the 6th of April. Sorry for abandoning you, dear blog. :/

2010-April-02
Was busy with trying to complete my assignmnets, and then during the weekend, spent my Friday (2nd of April) travelling from Cyberjaya-Putrajaya-Kelana Jaya with the bus. Which practically took 3-4 hours of my day away. Public transport is always a nuisance, with the delays & the waiting.

When I've reached Kelana Jaya, I was about to faint from being super hungry. I was also cashless. Imagine travelling with only RM10 in hand! Not only that, I was suppose to give Aunty a call when I've reached KJ, but my phone decided to die few minutes prior to arrival. And so, I had this idea.

I quickly walked to Maybank (the nearest bank around - thank goodness), withdrew some cash, went to Marco's Pizza, ordered some snacks and charged my phone. For the sake of charging my phone, I spent RM31.50 at Marco's  -.-'

When Hamster arrived at the KJ lRT from work, Aunty picked us up, and we went straight to Ta Ta Di, a Chinese Restaurant at Ara Damansara. The 1st time we had dinner here together was few days before CNY. Didnt ate much cos I was kinda full from the 'snacks' I had at Marco's. After dinner, Hamster & I went back to his house for him to shower while I waited for Girl's sms on where to meet.

Went to Matt's house, then we all went off to our own direction. Girl & I went to her house. Had a sleep-over there. It's been awhile since I had a sleep-over at her house.

2010-April-03
I did practically nothing the whole day. Spent the whole day sleeping (which was one of the reason why my migrain wont go away - too much sleep!). Around evening, helped my aunt to prepare for dinner. Matt came over for dinner. Then after dinner, we all went off with no idea where to go. Then Girl & I wanted to watch 'Clash of the Titans 3D', so we aheaded to One Utama. By the time we reached the counter, the seats were full. =.='' Then we just head off to Strawberry Fields for supper.

2010-April-04
And so, THE DAY had arrived, the MALAYSIAN F1 GRAND PRIX. Hamster & I woke up at 9am. We had breakfast with Aunty before we go to catch the shuttle at One Utama. We had the WORST chicken rice ever. BAD. Real BAD I tell you. Like what Hamster said, ''This is the worst chicken rice I've ever tasted, I am NOT going to eat it anymore''.

Went off to One Utama just in time to catch the 11am bus, but I had to make a detour to the restroom to answer nature's call. >.<  We took the 11.30am shuttle bus, where I happened to meet my former lecturer. It was great to see one of them.

Approximately 45minutes later, we reached Sepang International Circuit! I was sooo excited. This is the only thing (beside the go-kart race - which I have been MIA to since late last year) I can do that shows my passion for cars. FAST CARS.

Let me just put up the pictures. Words alone just cant describe the day. :)
