Went to Penang last Saturday morning [5a.m. - 13th Feb. 2010]

Penang was great, as usual. Hot, not so usual.

Day 1: Night of the 13th, went to Hamster's poh poh house to have reunion dinner. That was their first time having reunion dinner, and I'm happy to be a part of it. Love the vege that poh poh cooked. And the soup, if I wasnt full, I'd had the whole pot. That was my 1st time celebrating Chinese New Year for real. I look forward to the next one!

13th February 2010 - Love this shot

After the dinner, we head back to Aiyee's house, played some fire works then played BlackJack. About almost 2a.m., we head to Pelita to have supper

Day 2: CNY day, we woke up at almost 12pm. We quickly showered, then head to poh poh house again. Had some cakes and wished her ''Gong Xi Fa Cai''. After that we head off to have lunch. We head to a shop not far from the Guan Yin temple to have the famous Nasi Kandar Immigration. It was great. The last time I came to Penang, I didnt really like it 'cos I lost my appetite the whole time there. Spent the entire day at Gurney Plaza. When the day turns to night, we head to Tesco to get some raw food stuff to make steamboat. Had a very full-filling meal. :)

14th Feb 2010 - CNY dinner

Day 3: We head to a hawker place where they have many food stalls under 1 roof. I had Shark Fin soup & Sizzling Hot Plate noodle. Love the shark fin soup. Then we head to Guan Yin temple to pray. For the 1st time, I prayed at a temple, with the joss stick. Although it was a traumatic experience, because of all the hot ashes falling to my skin, but I felt much in peace after that. I will do it again when I got the chance.

Then we head back to the house to have a quick shower as we were all sweating like hogs. We went to Queensbay Mall. After that, we head to this place next to Gurney Plaza to have dinner. After that we head back to the house after doing quick grocery shopping.

Day 4 : We then head to Penang's Times Square. Its a new shopping mall. Can literally smell the plaster of the walls and ceiling. Hamster & I had some fun at the mini Fun Fair. Then we head to a place called Sunshine Square to get some things. We head back to the house to get ready because we were to have dinner with Hong's dad. Went to this place called Teluk Tempoyak. Its a beach side restaurant. It was a beautiful evening with the sceneries and food. We head to Batu Feringghi to have beer by the beach.

Happy St Valentine's Day!

Last night I got a surprise from my Hamster

Last night during dinner, Squirrel said something 'bout me should eat more chocolate. Cos it's my favourite and it helps me to cool down when I'm angry.

So after dinner, we [me, Squirrel & Wombat] went separate ways with Hamster cos he need to see his insurance agent & we are going to do some shoe shopping. After we were done, we head off to MJ Cafe to have Skol, cos Squirrel was excited she's gonna be working halfday only on Friday [today].

We waited and waited for almost two hours for Hamster to come. I called him, he said, '' Will be there in 3-5 minutes''. So, ok, we continue our drinking n chit chatting. 30 minutes gone by and still no sign of Hamster. I called him again, he said, ''Sorry, sorry. I under estimated the time. Will be there in 2 minutes. Can you come to the car when I reach?''. I was kinda pissed already. I just said, ''Fine''. I kept turning towards the entrance gate for the whole 2 minutes. And when I saw his car turning in, I got up and walked towards the parking area.

When I got there, he asked me to come inside. I cant help to just smile and smile and smile and somehow felt embarrased that I was angry at him for being late, when he's late because he was getting the gifts for me. :)

Excitement Blunder

In my previous entry, which was yesterday, I said we're going out to buy curtains, aite? OK, so the story for today is... [see it for urself]

 Ahaha...!!! We were so excited we found a nice color to compliment the sofa sets, that we overlooked the design/imprints.

Anyways, dare to be different. So end up now, no need to buy another piece to match. I also bought myself a comforter, for a really cheap price, RM53.85. :)

And so we got good bargains. Its Chinese New Year sales!

So, last night we [Sarina & I] went to the airport to pick Clif up. He just came back from Kuching. Just as we passed the 1st toll, which is just merely 3km away from her house, we took the wrong turn. Instead of heading towards KLIA/Seremban/Johor Bharu highway, we head to Kuala Lumpur/Ipoh highway. But luckily she managed to find the way out, we end up coming out from Kota Damansara, made a big round, and passed behind her apartment again.

While we were trying to look for a way out, we passed a toll booth. She passed the transit ticket to the toll operator, and the were charged RM1. She gave the operator RM10 note. The operator only gave back RM4, the thing is we were already passing the toll, so we quickly stopped by the road side, and she had to walk back to the toll booth, and get the rest of her money. When coming in the car she said to me, '' Now i know how it feels to be a toll booth operator, aving to walk across the highway like that!''

We had a great laugh over it and still cant believe we actually had to go through all that.

Good reminder that next time we shouldnt miss the turn.

SPRING CLEANING! TIGER YEAR ~ rrraawwrr!!!

The New Year is around the corner. Yesterday, 7th Feb, I helped Hamster & Squirrel cleaned their house upside down (well, not literraly). I helped by wiping all the windows n sliding door to the balcony, a little bit of vacuum-ing & help lugging out heavy trash bags (amongst the many).

I saved the mopping for today cos if I do everything yesterday, I'll be having sore muscle. Today, when Hamster was about to go to work, he came to me to kiss me goodbye as usual, then as he kneel on the bed, the bed frame structure failed to work properly. Ahahaha! It immediately woke me up, and I started laughing so hard cos it was so funny to me. Hamster wanted to fix it so I can continue sleeping but I told him not to cos he's already about to go to work. So I slept in Aunty's room.

I had Popeye's fried chicken and fries with Pizzahut's Royal Masala & Hawaiian Tuna for lunch. The Popeye's are leftovers from Saturday night's dinner, and the pizzas are leftovers from last night's dinner. After putting out the mats to dry at the balcony, I vacuumed the whole house, and mopped the house, twice! Really killed my back. I slept for two hours after that.

Now I'm waiting for Squirrel to come pick me up, then we'll wait for Hamster to have dinner at One Utama. We're going to buy new curtains for their house. I might buy one set for my new room too. And a blanket/comforter. I shall not buy anymore clothes!

Its 6.30pm now. I'll get ready to go out now. BYE!

Anger Panger

Good morning everyone!

Early morning (as usual). This morning ont he way sending Aunty to work, she was telling me about the case where a man splashed his wife with acid. His wife died because of severe trauma & infection. The sad part is, when he splashed his wife with acid, his wife was sleeping with their 17 year-old daughter. The reason for all these?

The wife was a hawker. Operating a hawker stall day and night. She always asked their daughter to help her at the stall. The husband, got angry because their daughter was going to sit for her SPM paper and wanted her to concentrate on her studies. Arguments after arguments, led to this very bad choice made by her husband.

To make things worst, their 17 year-old daughter wasnt able to sit for the SPM exam because her eyes barely can see. The doctors were trying their best to save her eyes.

Now, the husband is in the jail. The wife is dead. And their daughter is now left with badly damaged vision, an orphan, her beauty taken away from her, and her future, left in the bleak.
Anger had caused the husband to take this unthinkable act. He love his daughter. He want to see future bright. But when he made the decision to do something about it, too damn bad, the decision was made out of anger, without thinking of the consequences.

My message? Please, think with your brain, not with your heart.

*I sometimes does that too. Sorry for the people I've hurt. I'm doing my best to change*

No Work = Boredom

Gosh, I'm so so so bored, even Facebook failed to entertain me. And seems like everyone I usually chat with, are busy or not online today. WHY??!!!...

I've had 2 cups of Nescafe & currently having my 3rd cup of chocolate drink. Jeez... I can see myself getting fatter now. :S

What is this...???

Today starts early as usual. Woke up at 0820 to send Aunty to work.

Along the way, I noticed that drivers on this particular morning are just too selfish. Or can I say lokek? It means selfish in English. ;p  When going out of the 'T' junction, I was already in the middle of the junction, going to the left lane, when this very selfish lady just push herself in front of me without considering that there's a car coming towards me from the right lane. And when this lady already drove past, I was thinkin', 'OK, now i can go', then the moment I stepped on the accelerator, I have to immediately stepped on the brake, cos another lady driver behind the 1st lady just go right in front of me, and then stopped, and look at me, like WTF is this??? Why stop when in the first palce she wanna badly go? Stop and do what? Let me go thru?? Like how the F am I gonna go through when she's stopping in front of me?? She saw the car coming from the left lane, then why she wanna proceed n not let me go first? What her intention is to get me got run over by the oth car isit? Stupid shit la this woman...

I'm not dissing woman drivers here. It just happened that the 2drivers were women. in general, all drivers shouldnt do this. Even if they are late. If they are late also, goign fast is not gonna make any difference. they are still gonna punch in their card, and its still gonna be marked red. Sheesh... People should think with their brain, not their heart.

1st of Feb, wheew! What a way to start a new month. Woke up at 0830 and only came back to the house at 2200! Went here n there, did this and that. Its a well spent time. Many things were done. A very tiring day, I must say.

Been quite a long time since we actually spent time together like this. Just the two of us. I think it was our 1st, actually.

A day full of laughter, short bickering, madness, anger (towards the guy who was rude after almost crashing into Mojo), and hunger. Not to mention it was a really hot day. But it was worth it. He did some shopping n got himself some bargain with polo tees. And Aunty too. I ended up sleeping at 0300 in the mornign of 2nd Feb.

The day ended with me feeling really really happy for myself. I would have given up if I didnt see the positive result. I would like to thank everyone who have encouraged me, helped me, and told me not to give up when I almost did. Especially you. Thank you.
